Okay, some of you out there still aren't sure whether it is appropriate to have a Facebook account as a professional (or as an adult, for that matter).  Can you be taken seriously as a lawyer and have a Facebook account?  If it makes you feel any better, several professional and law-related organizations have Facebook pages including the DRI Young Lawyers and the American Bar Association Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section.  Legitimate organizations setting up camp in Facebook is a growing trend. 

As with any social networking website, a word to the wise:  assume anything you put on the web will or could be viewed by your professional colleagues, judges, clients, your boss, etc.
